Hoping you aren't Scrooges - which christmas songs are your favourites?
I can't get enough of 1984's Band Aid - it's so beautifully composed and it's lovely how they all sing at once. It's the only version I like because I at least know some of the artists - Paul Young, George Michael, Sting....

I can't imagine the Christmas season without jazz, in particular Ella Fitzgerald's Ella Wishes You a Swinging Christmas (playlist here). She's got a truly wonderful voice, so full of joy and mischief, and her versions of old Christmas classics definitely rival Bing Crosby and the like. Ella is the best .

I love Carol of the Bells. It's a little haunting.
But I like a lot of Christmas songs. Another current favorite is "Wonderful Christmastime" by Paul McCartney.
