| Whether it's Niles' specific coffee foam requirements, or Frasier having his ornaments askew instead of face-on, both brothers are extremely fussy when it comes to... pretty much everything. Does anyone have any annoying/fussy habits?
I always get annoyed when people don't use coasters, and when I hang out washing, I have to use matching pegs for each item. For some reason, I hate if my girlfriend uses a plastic and a wooden peg on the same t-shirt!

| I am even more fussy. I would not allow plastic pegs. Mine are all wooden! | |

| I always use the wooden ones. I should really throw out the plastic ones so she can't mix them And when people hold wine glasses by the bowl and leave greasy fingerprints all over them... | |

| I don't mind the pegs (wooden, plastic or otherwise) , but one thing that I can't stand is when people drink from their glasses while there's food in their mouths, especially if they leave some of it on the glasses. At that point I usually find an excuse and leave. | |

| Ha ha - it's easy to see why we all love Frasier!
I won't use wooden pegs - just plastic ones - and yes, they have to be matching. This goes for the colour as well of course.... Wooden ones are no good in rain and there's a lot of that in the UK.

| I have a few. Coasters are important as others have said. I also cannot stand when people talk with their mouths full (not that I'd make an issue out of it with guests!). Not throwing away food or drink remnants/cans/etcetera and just leaving it lying around is probably my absolute biggest complaint!
Related, cannot stand it when people leave "public" areas in the house messy. My daughter is good for that with the TV room: she'll leave blankets strewn about, drinks and food wrappers sitting out, tablet/phone/books tossed wherever, dirty socks laying on the floor... urk.
I love you, kiddo, just please clean up after yourself in the rooms we all use!

| Wiping tea marks off the cup when I drink from it. Also hate eating and then drinking while eating, as food can get in the drink or left on the cup. | |

| I can't stand noises that people make while they eat - eating with their mouth open or smacking their lips, ewww. Cracking joints also drives me nuts, but now that it's proven that it's not bad for you, I don't have a reason to ask my brother not to do it . | |

| I'm a great opponent of technology in social situations. Mobile phones are such an attention drain. I mean, i love having a smart phone and using it but having it out immediately blocks out conversation. On a different note, I've been fascinated by the idea that the lack of technology on Frasier is one of the reasons it hasn't dated much. | |

| It makes you realise how old the show is when you occasionally see Frasier's laptop, or Niles pulls out the antenna on his mobile phone! I think the show is so good because it's all about the social situations and relationships. | |

| But it does annoy me sometimes the way they don't use technology when they absolutely could. For example, when I was watching Halloween for the first time, I think I actually shouted at the screen, "Call yourself a taxi, Daphne!" I know the plot would be ruined if she din't need Frasier to take her home, but serously, this is not even a matter of recent technology, taxis and phones were around a lot before Frasier aired . Also, I love it when Daphne is chatting with Donny on the laptop and Niles manages to close the program by pressing a single key on the keyboard . (I've gone terribly off topic, maybe we need one about the technology in the show). | |
