| I'd have to go with Roz. I love all the characters, but she stands out for some reason. | |

| Niles, he's quite a complex character and there are many times when he surpasses Frasier in comical qualities. Sometimes, I think that the series would have been better if Niles had been given equal screen time with Frasier. | |

| Its just so great the way they all bounce off each other so naturally, I reckon this is why it was so successful, they come across so natural and believable. | |

Yep. I wonder what would have happend if even one character had been played by someone else. The only one I can imagine having been played by another character is Martin - if I had to pick one. Not that I dislike JM's portrayal, but perhaps Martin's down-to-earth personality might have been the easiest to be portrayed by someone else. Rosie Perez was considered as Daphne and I really can't see that one working well...

I'm thinking it's Frasier, but it could also be Faye Moskowitz, Father Mike Mancuso, or Frederick Crane.

| Impossible to say! I feel guilty as soon as I think I know who my favorite is - I just can't pin any one down. Even the non-main character is hard. One moment I think Simon, then I watch an episode with Bebe and change my mind, and it just continues... It's a vicious cycle. | |

Oooh, Simon, now there's a controversial opinion! I think lots of people think the show could have done without him .

| I like him too and I don't really care about non-authentic accents.
But perhaps it was a mistake to have him in more than one or two episodes (he appeared in 6 or so). I think that was why so many people dislike Ma Moon: She portrayed Daphne's mom perfectly (after all those horror stories we hear from D), but to give her an actual storyline (her separation from D's father) and to keep bringing her back for no reason many times after that was too much.

| I have to go with Frasier as well. "Lovably pompous", sure, as one episode states, but he has an innocence, a sensitivity and a caring about him that's really appealing. He's so educated and haughty, but the second someone is in need, he's suddenly down-to-earth and there for them.
But I love the whole cast. Frasier is one of the few shows where I actually like all of the main characters, and then a lot of the minor reoccurring characters too. Bulldog, Noel, and especially Gil come to mind as favorites. I actually really liked Julia as well.
Now the real question... only one main cast member changed actors mid-show as far as I know. Who's the better Eddie, Moose or Enzo?! D:

I love the way Frasier just accepts it when people lay into him and criticise him For me, it's Moose. After all, he's the one who created the character.
