What would Maris looks like?

Your wildest speculations, please . Also, if you have an idea of an actress who could possibly have played her (before it became clear that no human could play Maris), post pictures!

For some reason, I guess because she can look very strict and is used to playing high-society characters, I've always thought Kristin Scott Thomas would have been great for the role.

I always imagined someone like, well, Mel (although I like your example too!).  Reed-thin, but, despite all the jokes they made in the show, not unattractive.  She'd have to be somewhat pretty, I'd imagine, considering all the notable (and well-off, removing that motivation) boyfriends she ends up with.

Those pictures of Maris are how I imagine Kristin Scott Thomas. Much like Lilith in appearance, except having Niles' characteristics.

I don't know... That actress is sexy. I can't picture Maris, sexy, not even by Niles' standards. He married her for money, remember?
